Ultimately Remind Yourself that Communication Is Not For The Benefit of the Sender or the Receiver. It is About the Message Sent Out into the World. Is It Better for the Words?
Properly COMMUNICATE even if it’s uncomfortable, unclear, or uneasy.
Do not allow the behavior of others to cause you to suffer.
Staying nice, grateful, and humble will take you far.
Do not be played by deadly emotions, especially by others.
The way you communicate says more about you than it does about others.
Be aware.
Wise men speak because they have something valuable to say. Fools speak because they want to say something.
Follow God’s plan, not your mood.
The best practice of true communication will involve respect, responsibility, and actions that do not come naturally.
Galatians 5:22-23 says it all.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Philippians 4:8 is the foundation.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Romans 12:2 is a must for everyone who wants to communicate with a supernatural power from the Holy Spirit and not from deadly fleshy emotions.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
You won’t always be motivated to do this, so you must stay disciplined.
