Self-love and self-control are the bookends that hold the fruit of the Holy Spirit TOGETHER.

To walk in the holy spirit daily we must display being patient, kind, humble, show good manners, not be selfish, and it all must be DEVELOPED.

It is not easy. But we can be thankful to God that He is patient with us and daily and will help us grow up in spiritual maturity.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is so BEAUTIFUL. It shows us how to truly love ourselves, and how to deal with and love others too.

Funny how LOVE is the fruit of the spirit that is first listed, and SELF-CONTROL is the last. I feel it was listed that way on purpose so we can grow up spiritually.

Follow the Holy Spirit. Obey His Word! Love and Self-Control.
